Welcome to St Michael and All Angels Church, Hoole

"To Know Christ and Make Him Known"

     SUNDAY SERVICE 5th July

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
    Matthew 11v28.

Today we have been back in church for the first time since mid-March for both the 9:00 and 10:30 services. It has been wonderful to be together again. The 10:30 service is available to listen to on the website for those unable to be at church this morning and the Sunday School video is also available.

To hear Ann and Peter deliver the Sunday Service and Liz deliver the Sunday School lesson please click on the video tab at the top of the page.

' Praise the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits.' Psalm 103

    Dear all

Next Sunday 5th July we are holding our 2 morning services in church once again at 9.00am and 10.30am. We hope that both services will be similar to usual though with socially distanced seating, hand sanitising etc. Facemasks are optional. Both services next week will be Holy Communion; the Church of England has laid down clear guidelines as to how that is to be administered, which we will be following.

We are hoping to be able to hold Sunday School as usual during the 10.30am service

We will have music at the 10.30 service but at the moment we can’t sing inside the church. We are able now to broadcast the service outside the church so if the church is full or if you prefer to be outside, you will still be able to join in worship.

We hope to produce an audio recording of the 10.30 service which we will put on the website early afternoon on Sunday for those unable or unwilling to attend the service.  I look forward to worshipping with many of you again in the near future.

The church will remain open everyday from 9.30am -4.30pm for private prayer. There are prayer resources for you to use and then take away with you. There is so much to thank God for  and so much to pray for as schools and businesses begin to open up while so many people are still suffering in different ways. I do hope many of you will want to set aside time in the days ahead  to pray.

So please pray. Remember TEASPOON PRAYERS: T for THANKS, S for SORRY and P for PLEASE. We have so much to give thanks for.

'Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all his benefits'

    with prayers and best wishes
