The Lodge is growing fast before our eyes. I am delighted to be able to announce the opening date on Sunday September 18th when Archdeacon Mark will be speaking at our 10.30 Morning Service and formally opening our Lodge which is going to be of huge benefit to the children and young people of Hoole and many other aspects of parish life. Please put the date in your diary. There will be refreshments and a BBQ for everyone after the service together with a church treasure hunt.
There will be no Sunday School during the holidays, but there will be activities to do in Church for any children, and activities outside when we can.
On Sunday 21st August at 1030, there will be an all age service, which Liz will be leading. Sunday school will restart on the 4th September. There is also a Parish walk and pub supper on Tuesday 26th July. Meet at 4.00pm at the Blue Anchor car park, Bretherton. For more details and to book your place, please contact Colin Wilson on 616978 or email southview1953@tiscali.co.ukDo come along if you are free.
Bible studies now take a short Summer break. Please look out for future dates.
Prayer is our conversation with God. He wants us to come to him with all our worries and thanks. We have put aside a space in Church, under the gallery at the front. Please feel free to sit in private prayer, give us your requests and know that God through Jesus is listening.

Safeguarding - As a Church we have adopted the House of Bishops ‘Promoting a Safer Church’ policy and the Parish Safeguarding Handbook, incorporating the House of Bishop’s Safeguarding Policy and Practice Guidance. Our PCC has formally adopted this and signed the Safeguarding Policy Statement Promoting a Safer Church. Details of our Parish Safeguarding Officer can be found in the ‘Contact Us’ section on the website. We have also displayed the Promoting a Safer Church poster prominently within our Church. All those working with children and adults at risk have undergone safer recruitment, received safeguarding training and support.
